{"id":843,"date":"2009-09-01T08:13:04","date_gmt":"2009-09-01T13:13:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/helian.net\/blog\/?p=843"},"modified":"2009-09-01T08:14:25","modified_gmt":"2009-09-01T13:14:25","slug":"the-moral-crusade-of-the-rabbit-people","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/helian.net\/blog\/2009\/09\/01\/torture\/the-moral-crusade-of-the-rabbit-people\/","title":{"rendered":"The Moral Crusade of the Rabbit People"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2009\/04\/22\/hannity-offers-to-be-wate_n_190354.html\">They<\/a> do not trust the government to administer \u201cend of life\u201d panels, even though such services are common in medicine today, because they are afraid they will become \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/michellemalkin.com\/2009\/08\/09\/death-panels-what-death-panels-oh-those-death-panels\/\">death panels.\u201d  <\/a>They do not want to give the government power to <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rightpundits.com\/?p=4667\">take over the Internet <\/a>in \u201cemergency situations\u201d because they suspect, and rightly so, that it would facilitate censorship.  They do not want <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rushlimbaugh.com\/home\/daily\/site_072709\/content\/01125113.guest.html\">big government <\/a>because they suspect, and rightly so, that the cost of big government is the loss of Liberty.  Yet somehow they have managed to convince themselves that they must elevate government use of <a href=\"http:\/\/article.nationalreview.com\/?q=OThmYTA5YWExOGJkOWY4ODM3YzYwNmM5OWVlNzg4ZTc=\">torture <\/a> in the interest of \u201csecurity\u201d to the status of a holy cause.  Is it that difficult to grasp the logical disconnect?
